Try to place your chrysalis in a safe place in your home where it is exposed to the natural lighting and temperatures of the current season. Take care, however, to keep it out of direct sunlight and away from any drafts created by heaters or air conditioning units. Also, remember to be patient, Mother Nature always goes at her own pace and this chrysalis could be the one who decides, in order to ensure the survival of its species , to wait several years before coming out. MY chrysalis stays untouched. Almost 2 months now.

Hi Tashia, Wow, see, plant it and they will come! What a wonderful finding in your garden. It’s Anise Swallowtail caterpillars that you would find eating Dill, Fennel or Parsley. We would love to see your photographs!
